2.1 CH wireless subwoofer
Bluetooth®
The crackle of laser-fire. The roar of a crowd. Two channels bring new levels of sound to your favorite movies and shows. The compact wireless sub-woofer delivers satisfying bass. Explosions will rumble, and music sounds full.
Movie over? Time for a post-series-finale discussion? Once the on-screen drama has ended, switch the soundbar to Bluetooth and cue up a playlist. Or play your tunes straight from the audio-in port. You'll enjoy the same richer sound, whatever you love to listen to.
This soundbar boasts a beautifully simple design and low profile. When it comes to placement, the integrated wall brackets keep your options open. The compact design of the powerful sub-woofer makes it easy to conceal.

Good basic 2.1 unit for small/medium sized room.
I've had this unit for over a year now and it works fine. It fills up a 3x6m room well enough to watch movies and listen to music with some body to the sound. The sound quality is good enough - its only got 2 small speakers up front and a small subwoofer so its not super crisp or deep, and it won't shake the room, but for the size and price, you can't expect that. It was very simple to set up and use right out of the box, and the bar and subwoofer each are not very large, which is good. It was very inexpensive and I bought it as an interim unit until I could get something better, but its been good enough for my living room so far. I also like that its all black, without any flashy chrome or color that makes it noticeable. Its got good connectivity - I have an old tape deck plugged in, my TV connects by optical, and I use Bluetooth with my computer or phone regularly, with no issues. There are 3 sound modes (movie, news, music), but the manual does not tell you which is which. From what I can guess, in movie mode the center LED flashes green (lots of bass), for news it flashes yellow (it sounds more mid-range with less bass), and for music it flashes white (good mix of bass, mid and high). One thing I really wish it had was a sync adjustment so you can delay the sound by a few milliseconds to better sync with the picture - when you connect it by optical, dialogue is slightly out of sync with the picture from the TV. As it is, you have to have either the TV sound on or the sound bar, but not both or it will sound like an echo. Overall not a bad entry-level unit. Easy to set up, doesn't take up much space and it fills the room well enough. So much better than just TV audio alone. Great for a small/medium room or apartment if you don't want to spend too much.
Pros
Small profile, good connectivity, easy to set up with simple remote, inexpensive.
Cons
Sound is good but not stunningly deep or crisp, no delay/sync adjustment, documentation lacks some key details.

Sound is decent, has some design flaws
I've used this speaker and Sub combo for 5 months. Sound is Alright for the price, you get what you paid for. There are 3 sound settings (movie, music, sports), and 2 wired ways to connect (aux or optical). It's not very clear which sound setting is selected, though easy to figure out by listening. I chose the optical audio connection which works well with our TV. There is also an occasional weird impedance in the sound when adjusting the volume or settings which is annoying. Just recently, after using the speaker for TV and movies, the LED indicator light on the front went out. It's difficult to tell when the speaker is powered and what setting the speaker is on since the light went out. I will be trying to get it repaired/replaced under warranty
Pros
Compact, low power
Cons
Isn't up to performance for the Philips name
