Portable DVD Player

I have had the portable TV for a year now. It was installed in the car for my kids to use. So far, we have not had any problems except for the wiring unit for electrical supply from the car. It was changed immediately I contacted Phillips. The TV functions very well. Both visual and audio qualities are good. It is very ecomomically as it is very easy to install in the car compared to having this unit installed at the dealership, and also provides the same functionality. I would get another unit for my next car which will be next year

This dual DVD player is great for the car. I love the feature that allows each monitor to either play separate DVDs or sync together to play the same one. It would be fantastic except that this is the 2nd set we've had within 10 months and one of the monitors keeps going out. Sound comes through but no picture. =( I understand that sometimes you can get a faulty product, but when the SAME thing happens to two different players within a year....something is definitely wrong. I'd be curious to know how widespread the problem is....it can't be just me who's gotten 2 lemons.
